敬告各位教职员工，家长和同学们：

滴水之恩，涌泉相报---雷丁周边华人献爱心活动!

此时此刻，新冠肺炎正在毫无忌惮的肆虐全球，它残酷地夺去了很多人宝贵的生命。此时此刻，危险最大的其实是NHS一线的医护人员，他们在医疗物质缺乏的情况下，为我们挡在了最前沿。

相信身边很多华人都享受过NHS的服务，不管是初来乍到，还是定居已久。每个华人大概对NHS都有着不同的感受，对它又爱又恨，但无论NHS系统本身如何，英国医院的医生、护士以及工作人员整体的素质还是一流的，他们一般能做到一视同仁，不会因为种族或者你的经济地位决定是否优先给你治疗，他们只会根据病情的严重程度来决定，他们总会把生命放在首要位置，这是源于他们对生命的敬畏以及作为医务人员高度的责任感和价值观。正因为如此，此时此刻，我们能做的是让他们知道，在雷丁周边地区有这么一群中国人非常感激他们的付出，我们这群中国人默默的用微小的行动来支持他们。因此雷丁中文学校决定再次发起华人献爱心活动。

由于监管严格，医院暂时不能接受民间医护物资捐赠，所以我们呼吁大家捐款，统一买一些饼干，茶包，咖啡，蛋糕等送去雷丁周边的医院的staff room, 为他们补充不时之需。孩子们也可画一些鼓励的画作送给这些医护人员。

当医护人员在与死神决斗之间的空隙喝点我们送的咖啡和茶，一定会感觉到这个世间充满了爱！我们传递的这种关心和爱一定会给他们满满的正能量，最终一起战胜新冠病毒！

我们期待着孩子们重返中文校园，我们期待着生活回归到它原本的轨迹。让大家一起行动起来为白衣天使们献上我们的中国心！

Dear Staff, Parents and Students

As we all know that the Covid 19 is spreading across the world and has claimed many precious lives. At the moment the greatest danger is with the Front Line medical staff of our NHS who are working tirelessly to help patients.

We believer most of us would have used the National Health Service in England. Despite our background or our race, the NHS staff treats us equally, and they always put the patients’ needs first as they have a high sense of responsibility. The overall quality of the doctors, nurses and staff in England is truly first class! We are sure that people in our community are very grateful with the service our NHS provides.

Reading Chinese School would like to show our appreciation and would like to ask for donations to support our NHS staff. As NHS has strict guidelines as what they can receive, we have decided to buy things like biscuits, tea & coffee etc for them. We would also like to ask our students to draw pictures to thank them for their hard work.
